The reason for most glass units breaking down is the fact they are only sealed around the back edge of the unit, and when the unit is exposed to excess sunlight the sealant dries out (if sealed with cheap sealant) which allows moisture to seep in-between the panes – causing them to mist.
With this in mind, all of the glass units we install are sealed around the back and the sides of the unit; meaning that the glass will not move or allow moisture in-between the glass panes. Our glass units comply with British and BFRC standards, and we are extremely proud to announce that although we have been fitting these units since 2004 we have never had a single one which needs replacing or repairing!
